Back in May, we launched our first-ever Kyruus Health Care Access Champion Awards to recognize the incredible work our customers do to connect people with the right care. The response was inspiring, and after a thoughtful review of the many outstanding nominations, we are honored to announce our inaugural group of medical group winners.
These awards celebrate the organizations and individuals who are setting new standards for patient access through their innovation, dedication, and profound community impact. We are proud to begin by shining a light on four exemplary medical group customers who are truly transforming the patient experience.
Please join us in congratulating our 2025 Care Access Champions!
Community Impact Champion: Aunt Martha’s Health and Wellness
This award honors organizations demonstrating a deep commitment to improving healthcare access for underserved or vulnerable populations.
As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Illinois, Aunt Martha’s Health and Wellness is a vital resource for over 105,000 children and adults across more than 600 communities. Through their integrated primary and behavioral health model, they have significantly grown the number of patients they serve while keeping costs below state and national averages. Their consistent recognition by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) as a leader in access, quality, and value is a testament to their unwavering commitment to maximizing community impact and providing exceptional care to those who need it most.
Innovation in Access Champion: Harbor Health
This award celebrates organizations reimagining patient access through innovative strategies and digital solutions.
Launched in 2022 with a mission to make healthcare “work way better,” Harbor Health has embodied innovation from day one. Facing rapid practice expansion across Austin, Texas, they partnered with Kyruus to build a digitally connected consumer experience from the ground up. Leveraging solutions for online scheduling, pre-visit intake, digital check-in,
and telehealth, Harbor Health created a seamless journey for its diverse patient population. This tech-forward approach allows patients to easily find care based on location or provider type, check-in, and pay copays digitally—all of which has been critical to streamlining operations and reducing staff burden during their impressive growth.
Community Health Champion: BillieJo Landry – Access Health Louisiana
This award recognizes an individual whose work has been pivotal in expanding access to high-quality, convenient, and affordable care for the community.
As Training and Development Manager at Access Health Louisiana (AHL), BillieJo Landry has been a key driver of the organization’s patient access success. Since partnering with Kyruus in 2016, BillieJo has led the training and configuration for projects that have transformed patient engagement. Under her guidance, AHL has achieved a patient engagement rate of nearly 50%—more than double the typical 20% benchmark for FQHCs. Furthermore, 97% of their patients report being satisfied or very satisfied with the check-in process. BillieJo’s leadership in standardizing processes and effectively training staff has been instrumental in helping AHL lower no-show rates and grow patient volume across its 53 health centers.
Visionary Champion: Jennifer Bravo, SVP, Clinical Applications & Integration – HOPCo
This award recognizes an individual demonstrating exceptional leadership, anticipating trends, and driving systemic change to ensure equitable and efficient access.
As Senior Vice President at Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company (HOPCo), the nation’s largest orthopedic value-based care organization, Jennifer Bravo is at the forefront of musculoskeletal (MSK) care transformation. She has been instrumental in advancing HOPCo’s unique and comprehensive platform, which vertically integrates all aspects of MSK care, management, and data analytics. This visionary approach optimizes the entire continuum of care for physicians, hospitals, and payors across a growing national network in over 30 states, ensuring the highest value and best possible outcomes for patients.
A Heartfelt Congratulations
We are incredibly proud to partner with these trailblazing organizations and leaders. Their work exemplifies the spirit of the Care Access Champion Awards and inspires the entire Kyruus Health community.
To celebrate their achievements and extend their community impact, each 2025 Care Access Champion receives an award and a donation made in their name to a healthcare-related or local nonprofit of their choice. We are honored to support the following organizations on their behalf:
- Harbor Health has selected We Are Blood, an independent, non-profit blood center that has served the Austin, Texas community since 1951.
- Jennifer Bravo of HOPCo has chosen to support The MORE Foundation’s Military Veterans’ Transportation Program, which provides veterans with physical and financial assistance for transportation to their medical appointments.
- BillieJo Landry of Access Health Louisiana has selected Caring Strategies, a Louisiana-based organization empowering children, parents, and caregivers with meaningful learning opportunities and therapeutic resources.
Stay tuned—the celebration continues as we announce our health system and health plan winners!
