Tell us a bit about your background and the story of how you came to be connected to Kyruus Health?
My background is in international public health, I have always been passionate about healthcare, patient needs, and equitable access to high-quality care. Prior to joining Kyruus Health, I worked in various healthcare and health insurance settings. A recruiter contacted me about a position at Kyruus Health, which led to me learning about the company’s mission and vision. I was drawn to the opportunity because it aligned with both my career goals and the skill sets I wanted to develop.

How would you describe your experience with this identity?
My experience at Kyruus Health has been characterized by growth and mutual respect from both my direct team and colleagues in other departments.

What is something about you that you want others to know more about?
I am eager to work with teams to make technical data analysis understandable and accessible to everyone, and to align this analysis with the overarching goals and metrics of our customers. I find satisfaction in simplifying complex data and making it usable for all stakeholders.

From your perspective, what does celebrating Women’s History Month mean to you?
As a data analyst, celebrating Women’s History Month allows me to honor and remember the significant contributions women have made to STEM fields. These accomplishments are often overlooked; therefore, I appreciate that Kyruus recognizes Women’s History Month. This celebration gives us the opportunity to reflect on the groundbreaking work of women and their significant impact.

How would you encourage your colleagues to honor and celebrate this month?
To better understand and appreciate Women’s History Month, I recommend that my colleagues research the various inventions and patents by women that we use daily. Learning about even a few of these innovations could give us a new perspective.

How do you perceive the role of care access in health for women?
It is important for health care to be accessible to women at all stages of life. Women’s health is essential for their overall well-being, impacting both physical and mental health. As primary caregivers in many families, a woman’s health also affects the care she can provide to her loved ones.
