Ohio Health System Driving Brand Awareness and Loyalty with Upgraded Consumer Offerings

Boston, MA – July 9, 2019 – Kyruus, the leader in provider search and scheduling solutions for health systems, today announced that TriHealth, a Cincinnati-based, not-for-profit health system, has implemented Kyruus ProviderMatch® for Consumers to boost online patient acquisition and engagement. The solution is helping TriHealth better showcase its network of providers and enable consumers to pinpoint those best aligned with their unique needs.

Formed as a partnership between Good Samaritan Hospital and Bethesda Hospital, TriHealth includes five hospitals and over 100 other sites of care. Given its large footprint, the integrated health system wanted to make it easier for consumers to find the right provider at the right location, a key lever in driving competitive differentiation and brand loyalty. In planning the project, TriHealth recognized the importance of first constructing a standardized provider directory and worked with Kyruus to get this in place for its more than 1,000 providers. Capturing robust provider data in the KyruusOne® platform paved the way for the dynamic search experience consumers can now leverage on TriHealth’s website.

“Consumers have a range of healthcare options in the Greater Cincinnati area and we knew we needed to enhance our website to compete for their attention more effectively,” said John Ward, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at TriHealth. “With Kyruus, we’ve been able to offer a differentiated patient journey that includes the self-service options consumers are used to in other industries.”

TriHealth now also has access to novel insights about its provider network and patient demand through ProviderMatch Analytics. The in-app solution gives health systems a full, out-of-the-box view of their provider networks – including both geographic and specialty coverage – based on the profiles in KyruusOne. Coupling this with new visibility into patient search behavior, the solution helps health systems understand their supply and demand like never before and inform more marketing decisions with data.

“Across the country, more and more health systems are investing in understanding consumer trends and enhancing their digital offerings accordingly,” said Graham Gardner, CEO of Kyruus. “We’re excited to be working with TriHealth to help them modernize how patients access providers across their network, so they can more richly capture what their organization has to offer while simultaneously improving the patient experience.”
