We are so honored to have won Best HealthCare Collaborator: Company, in this year’s WEGO Health Awards. What makes these awards so special, is that people (and companies) are nominated by regular people and patients. There isn’t a small team picking winners and there isn’t a formal entry process beyond open nominations and endorsements.
We love the democratic nature of it and we love that we’ve been recognized by people as making a difference in health care. We tried hard at What’s the Fix? to create an event where patients and people lead and help the industry, and being honored for doing that makes us feel like we are on the right track.
More about what we’ve been up to
As a company, our mission is to help people make smarter health care choices. And, over the past couple of years, we’ve been hard at work activating our mission by putting people back at the center of health care conversations.
This year, we took a big step towards investing in that mission by hosting the first-ever What’s the Fix? conference. Instead of “just another health care conference” we flipped the model on its head and focused on only putting real people on stage to talk about what they’ve done to change health care. Our goal was simple: to inspire change. We’re now hosting monthly tweet chats on #WTFix (last Wednesday of most months at 10am PT) to continue to drive the conversation forward and are in the midst of planning for next year’s event!
